Berlin

I spent several days in Berlin in the beginning of November. The city is nice. But I had a strange feeling. I felt as an alien there. Do not know why. I visited several memorials dedicated the Second World War. May be because of it....

I prefer Helsinki ´=) and was happy when came back to it :).

"Universal" appearence

Does anybody think that you are German, Dutch, Swedish or Finnish when you are not German, Dutch, Swedish or Finnish?
Many people think that I am from their countries. I like it ;). It is great! Because in every country I feel like at home ;) - people treat me as with the native citizen.
The most good thing in such cases is to speak their language. Therefore I can speak little Finnish, Swedish 8). It is time to study German and Dutch ;). Don't you think so? :)

One more swimming =)

Hi!

I want to share my good mood today ;). Several weeks ago I found a perfect swimming-pool here in the city. It is the only one which works during the summer. Yeah, other swimming-pools are closed till September. In fact, the swimming-pools' policy can be explained. People prefer to swim in lakes, rivers, seas and oceans in summer. Therefore not so many people go to swimming-pools.

The swimming-pool is good. Big. They also use special substanses to clean the water. I like this swimming-pool! But.... I prefer that swimming-pool in Helsinki which you can see in my blog as well. Unfortunately I have no opportunity to swim there now. However there is always a possibility to have such an opportunity in future! ;) Let's be optimistic! :)

Hello! ))

I am rather busy recent months. Sometimes work demands a lot of time. That's true.
There is no vacation in my schedule this summer. It's a pity but that was my choice. Last summer I was in France on the 27 of July. It was great! ;)

The time to think

I found blog of one boy whom I met in Helsinki.

Unfortunately (or may be fortunately?), I completely lost the sence of Helsinki's life. But sometimes I begin to think about those 5 months in Finland. It was wonderful time. Really

Exactly, Finland is a special country. It will be special for me during whole my life. It changed me, it cagnged my understanding of life and understanding of myself. Thanks The Greatest Person of Ever that I had such an experience.

Barcelona

I've came back from Barcelona today in the morning (at 04.30). I practically didn't sleep during the night and the day because have had 2 classes. I was thinking that through every next minute I would fell asleep. But no! I'm still awake ;). The flight took almost 4 hours. After all I'm tired but so happy!!! :) Barcelona is a wonderful city! It's amazing! And Spanish people are so open-hearted and kind ;). They are so nice and very emotinal. I like that 8).

I've seen a lot of beautiful places in the Barcelona during last 4 days. Special thanks to my new Spanish friend - Santiago ;). Without him I would not see so much. Now I'm red as a tomato )) because my skin ususally is very pale and during these 4 days I spent several hours on the beach :). But soon I'll be like very milky chocolate :). Do you like milk chocolate? If you like it, you'll like me ;).

People

It is always surprised when people are so stupid and egoistic that began to offend another person even if this person did nothing bad to them. I stop communicate with such people at once. Because they don't worth of my attention after such behaviour.

It's Spring ))

Hi visitors!
Spring has come 8). In spite of snow on the streets the temperature is + 2 here. May be it's not so warm as in your countries. But it's warm for Finland. Because this country is on the North.
I'm glad, that it is already March. But you remember - I bought skates recently. I can't skate more near my house. Because there is no ice...

Ice-skating

We were skating last Wednesday with friends )). I'm not a good skater at all. It was just second or third time in my life 8). I didn't skate for 8 years! That is why at first I could only stay. Then I began to skate slowely. Later - faster. As a result, I fell 2 times 8). But it was a fun!
After skating my legs were hurted. Next day I couldn't swim breast-stroke. Because of the pain in my knees.
Nevertheless, I decided to buy ice-skaters :). I did it today! And now I'll go to skate!

Mitä kuuluu?

Hey!

I began to study Finnish and Swedish languages 8). Sometimes it's so funny :).
The topic of this message is written in Finnish and it means "How are you?" in English. So now jag talar ryska, engelska, franska, lite finska och lite svenska =). Previous sentence is in Swedish and it means that I speak Russian, English, French, Finnish a bit and Swedish a bit :).

Yesterday I with friends of mine visited the capital of Sweden. It's a very nice city =). It looks like from fairy-tale.

One of my favorite children's writer is Astrid Lindgren. I adore all her stories about Karlson, about Pippi and about Emil. These stories are very interesting. Sometimes I re-read them :).

Swimming-pool

Hi! Thank you for taking care about me! =)) Today I've visited this wonderful swimming-pool where European Short Course Swimming Championship for UNICEF 2006 took place in December 7-10. It's the biggest swimming-hall in Helsinki 8). It was my second time there :). I made 5 km or 200 swimming-pools with 25 metres.
"The Mäkelänrinne Swimming Center is the largest swimming center in Finland and the only one made to international standards. It was opened on 10th of May 1999 and became an instant success with more than 600 000 visitors annually" - from here: http://www.helsinki2006.fi

This small creature resembles me today in the forest )). He is just a poor tiny creature in the big-big world...

Funny story

Today I've decided to visit local swimming-pool. The usual way should take 20 minutes. But I spent more time trying to find the swimming-pool. I needed to go through the forest. Can you imagine! I lost my way! =) Yes, really!
After 40 minutes I decided to go home. It was not so easy - to find the back way to my home. I was spinning around the forest and couldn't understand, where I am. I asked some people. They show me approximate direction. Finally I found a road and a bus station. I was thinking:"It doesn't matter where the bus will go. In the end it will come to the centre of the city. After that I'll take another bus to my home". 20 minutes later bus arrived. I was glad 8). Fortunately, 10 minutes later the bus stopped on the street which was not far from my home! :) I was happy! So I spent 2 hours on fresh air in forest, trying to find at first swimming-pool and then my home! Because of snowing when I came home my coat and gloves were wet and I was a bit frozen.

Hello from Finland

Hello dear readers!

Now I'm in Helsinki - the capital of Finland. I like it very much! But don't understand many things because I don't know Finnish. Sometimes it looks very funny! =) People around think that I'm Finnish because of my fair hair and blue eyes ;).
